Ingredients

  • 3 medium Pears
  • 45 g Walnuts 1.6 oz / about 1/3 cup, chopped
  • 50 g Gorgonzola 1.8 oz, crumbled
  • Fresh thyme

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Halve the pears lengthwise. Scoop out the seeds and make a small cavity in each half.
  3. Arrange the six pear halves cut side up. Divide the chopped walnuts (45 g / 1.6 oz) and crumbled Gorgonzola (50 g / 1.8 oz) among them. Sprinkle with fresh thyme.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes, until the pears are tender but hold their shape and the cheese has softened. Serve warm.
